"Invisible Cities"
In his highly imaginative and evocative novel, Italo Calvino,
premier Italian author, created a landscape of the East that crossed
mental borders as well as physical.
In it, Marco Polo and Kublai Khan muse and fantasize about the
vast empire and touch upon some of the questions and ironies of
the ancient and modern worlds.
The music is a set of personal impressions of Calvino's vision,
reflecting the various exotic locales and the focus of the third
eye.
